Introducing #workyournetwork
If you’re not mad as hell, and not going to take it anymore, then what are you doing. Things are bad, but there are solutions. Almost a year ago, I got mad. Not just mad at the world, but moreover, mad at myself. “I’m smarter and better than being unemployed,” I thought. And, as I tend to do when frustrated, I began to tweet, and I began to write. In tweeting and writing, I noticed that people cared about what I thought. This made me wonder just how much they cared about what I thought. So, I boldly set forth to monetize my network, and in effect, own and change my life.
The universe is changing. Things are getting social and socialized. I saw the potential in this, and decided it could pan out into a career. I want to work in music. Music is my life, but I lacked significant professional background in and around the industry. So, I began to engage those who could help me along my path, stacking work, experience and paychecks. I began the path of being the example of what #workyournetwork could become.
I move at a pace faster than change. Once you accept that the new paradigm that has evolved from the universe’s shift, you’re ahead of the game. One of the gifts of that motion? 360 degree vision, awareness of past, present and future, an early adoption that is amazing, but also an entirely frightening notion. In embracing that fear, I feel that I have created an untold multitude of future benefits.
Get mad. Engage. Build, then #workyournetwork. Survive. Excel.
