Welcome to the Union of Capitalist Socialist Republics.

The concept of the democracy turned constitutional oligarchy that the United States of America once was is dead. The killer? The Internet. The moment? Facebook’s soon to be launched $100 billion IPO. Our once free thoughts and opinions now have calculated worth. In assigning a value to our freedom, Mark Zuckerberg has become the first premier of the Union of Capitalist Socialist Republics.

Existing as a professional outside of the typical silos of oligarchy supporting employment is the future. Those who are members of a rapidly increasiung creative cutlure are members of the New State. The New State took power in a bloodless revolution. The 2012 election is now a farce, those ascribing any connection to American democracy are outmoded people, not unlike Brits who believe that Queen Elizabeth still guides the legal power of the British Empire. The real power is in technology, as referenced by Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and the  next-level COINTELPRO tacticians at Apple likely all becoming publicly traded companies. The inherently social notions of democratized access and assimilation to the groupthink of the New State are about to run everything. If afraid? Smart. If excited? Smart. The future is frightening, but also now.

We’ve celebrated the death of the New State’s founder, Steve Jobs, with a collective wail and a State-sponsored biography. We celebrated the new leader, Zuckerberg, with an Academy Award winning film. These facts may sound scary, but now they are true.

Welcome to the New State. The Union of Capitalist Socialist Republics. We are here. Let’s join as one.
